This past summer I took an online course-Camp Scrap-from Big Picture Classes.
I didn't really do much with it, felt a bit overwhelmed by all the great content.
Luckily these courses are kept on their website indefinitely so they can be used over the months and years, so yesterday I made this card:
The main idea is to pick one thing-a tag, a die-cut, etc. and build a card around that. I was inspired by a card May Flaum made that she stamped in black ink and then inked over with Distress Ink in old paper and tea dye. I used this gears stamp. I seem to use this stamp over and over!
I looked at my Cricut cartridges to see what cards I could cut with it and ran across a great card message that matched the style of my stamp.
I added some washi tape in a wheel track print and some metal card candy and called it done.
I had also decided to make the
card smaller - 4x5 1/2 inches-
than I usually would make so it
fits inside this great little tote I got from the dollar shop
I intend to make a set of cards
for a Christmas gift for someone.
